IoT & Embedded Systems

Connected hardware, from the sensor to the dashboard. You will read real sensors on a microcontroller, get the readings to a server over an unreliable network, store them sensibly and show them to someone. The briefs come from the kind of systems KLS Tech Solutions builds.

What you'll be able to do

  • Read sensors reliably and know when a reading is wrong
  • Publish telemetry over MQTT and survive losing the network
  • Store and query time-series data without it growing forever
  • Reason about power, and about what happens when a device is offline

How submissions are reviewed

Each technical task follows the same submission contract, so you always know what 'done' means.

Common questions

Yes. KLS Academy is completely free. There is no enrolment fee, no certificate fee, and no payment of any kind at any stage. We never ask for card or bank details. The platform itself is open source under the MIT licence.

Yes. Every internship domain includes a full set of chapter-wise study notes as downloadable PDFs, ordered from beginner to advanced. They are free, they are yours to keep, and you get them the moment you sign up — you do not have to enrol, finish anything, or pay to unlock them.

Sign up with your name, email and date of birth. That is the whole gate. You can then read the chapter-wise PDF notes for any domain, and enrol in an internship whenever you are ready to start the project tasks.

Each domain has a chapter-by-chapter roadmap that runs from beginner to advanced. You read the chapters in order as downloadable PDFs, then apply them on the internship's technical tasks, which are reviewed by a KLS engineer. Learning and doing sit in the same place.

Enrol in a domain, share your offer letter on LinkedIn for verification, then complete each technical task. Every submission is reviewed by a KLS engineer. Your certificate is issued automatically the moment your final task is approved, at no cost.
